Hearing Tests

How do I know if I need a hearing test?

Hearing loss is incredibly common. 3.6 million Australians experience hearing loss, and for those over 60, it is 1 in 2 people. Hearing loss can start slowly or happen suddenly. It can affect one or both ears and may be difficult to notice at first.

If you or someone you care about has been turning up the TV, asking others to repeat, or avoiding social situations, a simple hearing check could make all the difference.

Free Hearing Screening

Have you had your hearing checked recently? We offer 15-minute screening tests which can accurately identify whether there is a hearing loss present.

Custom Ear Plugs

Unlike disposable earplugs, custom ear plugs are made to fit your ear perfectly and are reusable. Available in three different styles: music, swim, or solid. Perfect for work or leisure.

Consultation on noise-related hearing loss

It is important to protect your hearing when exposed to loud noise. Whether it’s a concert, noise at work, or even working on a hobby in the garage, every second of loud noise exposure counts. Come in for a consultation about noise exposure and what you can do to minimise the harm it is doing to your auditory system.

Diagnostic hearing assessments

Comprehensive assessments to differentially diagnose your ear health using advanced clinical equipment and the best clinical standards of care.

Hearing aid rehabilitation & ongoing management

Let’s break the stigma – hearing aids are not like they used to be. We offer state-of-the-art technology, smaller in design, bigger in sound.

Counselling on tinnitus

What is that ringing? Buzzing? Humming? It is important to understand the mechanisms behind tinnitus and helpful ways to minimise its impact on your life.

Cerumen removal/wax management

Ear wax is considered a natural, helpful and protective part of your body and ear. However, if the wax becomes impacted, it will need to be removed. Have a look at our wax removal solutions available.

Guidance on implantable technology

Sometimes, hearing aids are not the solution. If we determine that hearing aids are not the rehabilitative solution for you, we can discuss implantable technologies and candidacy.

Industrial hearing loss assessments

Did you know of all Australians that have a hearing loss, 1 in 3 can be attributed to noise damage? It’s important to be aware of the impact that noise can have on your hearing. If you work in a noisy environment, it’s important to have annual hearing checks.

  • trouble hearing in noisy places
  • trouble hearing people on the phone or voices sounding muffled
  • asking people to repeat themselves
  • increasing the volume on the tv more than others
  • buzzing or ringing in your ears (tinnitus)
