Neilson Eyecare is a full service optometry practice in Toowoomba. Our Optometrists have been practicing optometry for many years. Believing in lifelong learning, we stay at the forefront of research in to all aspects of vision. We have a particular interest in children’s vision and myopia control. Every patient has unique needs for their vision, we address these needs individually, and take the time to explain the options.
Our testing equipment is state of the art and includes an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Visual Fields machine, Myopia Master and a Digital Retinal camera. We also offer advanced dry eye treatment including device-based therapy IPL (Intense Pulsed Light).

IPL Therapy for Dry Eye
IPL therapy is an advanced, non-invasive treatment that addresses the underlying causes of dry eye disease. By improving the function of the meibomian glands and reducing inflammation around the eyes, IPL can help restore tear film stability and provide lasting relief from dry eye symptoms.
OCT Eye Scans
OCT technology allows us to see beneath the surface of the retina, providing detailed images that assist in the early detection and management of eye conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. The scan is quick, comfortable and an important part of comprehensive eye care.
Ultra-Wide Retinal Imaging
Ultra-wide retinal imaging captures a significantly larger view of the retina than traditional photography, helping to identify changes and conditions that may occur in the peripheral retina. This technology supports earlier detection and ongoing monitoring of your eye health.
