Our practice was originally started in the 1950s by Mr Norman Jarvey. Mr Alan Templeton took over in the 1960s, and Stephen Wakeling took it over in 1984. Since then the business has grown through many changes, and we have streamlined it to what it is today. The most recent change was when we partnered with George & Matilda Eyecare, becoming part of a larger group of Optometry practices.

Parking
Street parking available on Portman Street right outside the practice. There are also several car
parks for the shopping centre in the adjacent streets, and particularly at the end of Portman
Street. The closest transport is just a few doors away at Oakleigh Railway Station, and there
are also buses which travel along Portman Street, with stops only a few doors down and outside
the railway station.
